Initially what has started as a way for me to create the ultimate “when I was your age” to show my grandchildren someday, shooting and editing video has become something of a hobby. It began with small clips shot on a small digital camera. Now, I travel all over with a small Sony Handycam shooting video of all the crazy stuff I get to see and do as a professional athlete.

“As the Bean Turns” evolved from my new hobby and as a result of a lot of questions I get from fans, friends, and family that don’t really understand what the life of a professional cyclist is like. This video series is meant to answer some of those questions. AND to make the “ultimate when I was your age” mementos!
